BeDutched started with one refugee family and one open-minded volunteer.
While studying languages at university, I had already seen the limits of traditional methods: academic, unengaging, and disconnected from real life.So I took a different approach.
No textbooks.
No schedules.
Only real-life learning.
What started intuitively became clear:
People don’t come here to learn a language.
They come here to build a life.
Their Dutch journey should reflect that.
